Design Your Walls!

Removable Murals

If you have a large wall that is in desperate need of some design and the $1,000,000 Picasso isn’t quite fitting into your budget, then a Removable Mural may be the way to go. Removable Murals can be a great way to cover an expansive surface since they give a lot of bang for your buck and are easily removed when you move out or just get bored. Removable Murals start around $200, depending on your wall size, and can be easily customizable with a favorite photo, image, or original artwork designed just for you and work well in any room!

At Home

Add some personality to your space, something that gives people who come to your home a sense of who lives there, what they love and what inspires them. Removable Murals also offer an easy solution to the traditional wallpaper, which involves messy paste and difficult application.

Kids Rooms

This seems like an obvious setting for Removable Images because no matter how their tastes change over time, their décor can easily changes too without much cost or effort.

At Work

When your clients walk in and see a beautiful and bold image in your reception area, it can really set the tone for how they perceive your company because it tells a story about your company’s vision and culture. And don’t forget about the most important assets your company has- whether you are a bank or a creative firm, it is important to provide a space for your employees that is stimulating and inspiring. Custom murals take that message even farther and can provide a sense of pride to all who come to work there everyday.

The Savvy Art Collector

I recently decided to re-design my kids’ bedroom. I found the perfect beds, the cutest gender neutral sheets, and for the walls…that’s where I got stuck. I want my kids to have art on their walls that is kid friendly and speaks to who they are, but it needs to also go with my design aesthetic (meaning no Batman posters or millions of stickers on the walls). In addition, being a small business owner means that the art budget is modest in my house.

So, what’s a design-savvy and inspired Mama to do? I tried painting the wall. It looks great, but it needed something more.  That’s when I remembered I have a fantastic resource for printing– printing whatever I can dream up or get my hands on from the web! All I had to do was find the right images.

Here is a some of what I found-

Visions of the Future by NASA’s JPL

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory has created 14 vintage inspired posters that are free to download, so if you are a space nut or just like the beautiful images, download these babies, print and frame.

Free Vintage Posters

This site is a 100% free posters, free printables resource. They offer hundreds of high quality printable posters in advertising, travel, food/drink, art, movies, westerns, military, magic and much more.

Lila x Lola on Etsy

Easy is full of printable images for sale, but this site is one of my favorites and is full of contemporary wall art & home of the Peekaboo animals out of Bright, Australia. The inexpensive prints vary in price, but typically hover around $6.50 per image!

Vintage Printables

They provide free, public domain/out-of-copyright images for you to print or download. Most of the images are vintage naturalist or scientific illustration, but there are loads of other images, too.

After you find and print your beautiful images, you will need some frames. My favorite places to get frames are IKEA, Aaron Brothers, and Michaels.
